Victor

Gann

award-winning instrumental guitarist, session musician, producer, and instructor.

Victor has played live on MTV and worked with many Hollywood and Dallas based bands including Psychosis, Tripline, Crawling to Heal, Drowning Rain, Nobody's Fault and Lacy Jade.

He is a graduate of G.I.T., with degrees in Professional Guitar and Music Harmony & Theory. He has also taken lessons from guitar players such as Andy Timmons, Thad Bonduris, Joe Satriani, Paul Gilbert, Scott Henderson, Keith Wyatt, Jennifer Batten, Steve Trovato, and Nuno Bettencourt.

  • 2006 Victor teamed up with renowned producer and engineer Alex Gerst (The Feds, Advent, Slow Roosevelt & Pimpadelic) to record, play and produce an instrumental guitar album.

  • Victor was named in the February 2008 edition of 20th Century Guitar Magazine as one of four guitarists making waves in the music world.

  • In June of 2008, Victor was named as “The Unsigned Artist Of The Month” by Ultimate-Guitar.Com

  • December of 2008, Victor was named as one of “The Unsigned Artists Of The Year” by Ultimate-Guitar.Com

  • 2008 Victor again teamed up with Alex Gerst to produce his follow up CD.  The CD, titled ‘The Devil’s Been Busy’ showcases Victor's virtuosity on the guitar while providing solid melodies and rhythms.  

  • February of 2009, Victor was named as a “Featured Artist” on MetalMonthly.Com

  • May of 2009, Victor was named as “An Artist You Must See” by the Dallas Morning News.

  • December of 2009, Victor was named as one of the “Top Ten Artists Of The Year” by MetalMonthly.Com

  • 2012 Victor was a guest judge for Brad Davis’s “The Songwriters” show.

  • 2013 Victor supplied the score for the film “Sins Of The Father”. 

  • 2014 Victor produced the debut album from female rock band ‘The Mothers’.

  • 2015 Victor produced the debut album “A Lonely View” from Melissa Ratley as well as the debut album from Dieselbeast.

  • 2017 Victor released “III” his third instrumental album to commercial and critical acclaim.

Victor has also won multiple Effigy awards.

Victor has also scored themes and soundtrack music for NASCAR, ESPN, Access Hollywood, Comedy Central, CMT, as well as many pieces for The Travel Channel.

Victor is also currently endorsed by Ernie Ball,  Music Man, Spectraflex, PedalSnake, and FU Tone.

Victor has taught thousands of lessons to thousands of students.  Over 100 of his students have gone on to pursue further musical education and a career in music.  Each of those students are still involved in music.

Piano, Flute, and Clarinet

Jesse Chandler is a Denton based pianist.  He grew up playing classical music and then as a teenager started playing jazz.  He has a BFA in Jazz Performance from Mannes College of Music/New School in New York City.  He is a member of the Texas band Midlake as well as the New York band Mercury Rev.  He has toured all over the world with acts such as The Flaming Lips, Pearl Jam, and Neil Young.  He’s recorded on many records including recent projects with Norah Jones, Lucinda Williams, and one with members of Sonic Youth and Wilco.  He has taught for over 20 years.

Guitar, Bass, Ukulele, Theory

Nik is from Sanger.  He is a graduate of the Musicians Institute located in Hollywood.  Currently, Nik plays guitar with Melissa Ratley, Little Elmo And The Mambo Kings, and Spank.

Drums & Recording

Josh Cutlip is a Professional Drummer from Sanger.  At 17 he was signed to Universal Records and was on the Warped Tour with his band Red Car Wire.  After Red Car Wire he started Avion Roe and was signed to Epitath Records.  Josh is well versed in tempos, time signatures, various musical styles, and writing.

Piano & Voice

Roma is an experienced performer and teacher.  She is currently completing her degrees for Music Major and Psychology from TWU while pursuing a MBA in Music Therapy.  She has performed at Carnegie Hall and is an active member in her church choir.
